All surrender charges are waived on Accumulation Value at death of the owner or annuitant and the contract value is paid to the beneficiary.
| | Withdrawal Provisions | After the first policy year, clients may take each year a free partial surrender of up to 10% of the accumulation value.
After the first contract anniversary, should the annuitant
become confined to a qualified nursing home facility for at least 90 consecutive days we will increase the Penalty-Free Withdrawal amount to 20% of the Accumulation Value each year while the annuitant is confined. For ages 75 and younger, this Rider is automatically included with your annuity.
Surrender charges on IRS-required minimum distributions that exceed the 10% penalty free amount are waived by current Company policy.
The full accumulation value is paid as a death benefit upon death of the annuitant or owner. The beneficiary may choose to receive payments in either a lump sum or a series of payments. If joint annuitants are named, the Death Benefit will be paid out at the second death. If joint owners are named, the Death Benefit will be paid out at the first death.
A Market Value Adjustment (MVA) will be applied only during the surrender charge period to full surrenders or to any partial surrender in excess of the Penalty-Free Withdrawal amount.
Transfers between accounts are not subject to surrender penalties.
By current Company practice, a client may receive an income from the Accumulation Value after the first year without surrender charges if a Life Income option is chosen during the surrender period or if the annuity has been in force for at least five years and payments are received over at least a 10-year period for the 14-yr option and at least a 5-year period for the 7-yr and 10-yr options. | | Index Provisions | The product offers four distinct Crediting Methods:
